Conservative Party of Canada announces Billy Morin as their candidate for Edmonton Northwest

OTTAWA, ON – The Conservative Party of Canada is thrilled to announce Billy Morin as the new common sense Conservative candidate for Edmonton Northwest. He is a proud Albertan and Cree First Nations leader and former Chief of Enoch Cree Nation. Billy has been fighting for his people and working to build Indigenous and non-Indigenous alliances to unleash economic development and opportunities for Canadians.

“Our country is abundant in resources and economic potential, but government bureaucrats and gatekeepers are blocking our people from sustainably developing these resources and bringing home powerful paycheques. I’m looking forward to joining Pierre Poilievre in his common sense mission to axe the Liberal carbon tax, get rid of gatekeepers, and cut taxes and clawbacks that punish our workers and cripple industry and entrepreneurship. We’re going to make sure hard work pays again and put Canadians back in charge of their own lives,” said Morin.

After 9 years of Justin Trudeau, hardworking Canadians are struggling just to afford fuel, food, and shelter. Only a Common Sense Conservative government led by Pierre Poilievre will axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime. Billy Morin will be a tremendous asset to the team and a strong advocate for the people of Edmonton Northwest.
